Background Noise Nuisances
We’ve all joined a call where the other participants sounded like they were either in an echo chamber, a wind tunnel, or the middle of Times Square. Nobody likes those calls, and nobody likes distracting background noise.
If you have a weekly call with your team, there’s probably at least one person who is emailing, chatting, or generally not paying attention to what’s happening on the call. That person will often ask questions about topics you’ve already covered, much to the chagrin of all the active participants on the call.
