These aren’t our first work chat contenders, but they are definitely pet peeves for many people. Somehow, instant messaging at work seems to have created as many stresses as it solves. Try to choose between these equally enraging chat crimes.

The One-Word Line:

This
Chat
Habit
Is
Annoying. When you receive one word per line over chat, it takes longer to read and is 100 times more irritating.

The Never-Ending Message:

Some people use chat for short, urgent messages. Others choose chat messangers as the place to draft their next novel, and ask you to respond immediately. Few of us have time to read War and Peace in chat-feed form.
